Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation, beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints. For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old previously written into this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.
Having seen the assault that is going on against Christianity to try to incorporate things such as gay Christians, which I already posted, and, what I am about to post, chrislam which is a blending of Christianity and Islam. Rather than me describe all that this growing movement stands for and the players involved, I will post a YouTube video and a link so that these things can be examined.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
I had a dream before waking where I was in a fruit orchard. I saw some trees standing while others were cut down. I also saw people going up to trees and picking fruit and as they took their first bite they became sick. They went to the tree for…
A really good post on witnessing to a lost and dying world from Overcoming The Times. Blessings and enjoy!
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
All of us may not be called to share the Gospel from a pulpit, however we all have a God ordained assignment to utilize our gifts and talents, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to witness to those who are unsaved.
Give glory to the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. It is very important to spend your time with the Lord alone, to read your Bible, to sing for Him, to worship Him, just you and your God. He is a wonderful, amazing and awesome God, and if you want to meet Him closer and be in His presence, spend time on worship and praise. Seek Him by praise. The Lord’s presence is in praise and worship of His people. Praise is also very powerful weapon against your arch enemy, Satan and his demons, they hate it when you praise the Lord Jesus, or the Father. Whenever you feel down or worried, praise the Lord, no matter what, always praise Him and give Him glory. And do not listen if somebody tells you, praise is not important. God requires praise. He is in your praise, devote your time daily to praise and worship Him. He will reward you.
Your voice praising the Lord is like a sword destroying the enemy. Praise the Lord Jesus, praise the Father, praise His might and glorify Him by your singing. Amen.
Worship Him in the Spirit and the truth. His Word is truth. “I and my Father are one.” John 10 ”
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58
If anyone has a problem with worshiping Christ, check this: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1: 15-18
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelation 5:13
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ” Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ” Philipians 2
He sat down at the right hand of God’s throne “looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” – Hebrews 12.
5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.7 The sinful mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not controlled by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 14 because
those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
Romans 8; 5-14
( Wow! , such changes in the word of God by the way, I have NIV from 1983 and the wording is very different from the one which is online. The words sinful nature were changed in all places into – the flesh as well as a few other words. I do not about you, but to me the words – sinful nature or sinful mind – do not sound the same as flesh. Very disturbing, all the changes in the bible, beware). Always keep the old King James bible with you. Do not buy the new one, you can understand easily what the old one says. And English is not my native language, so if I can, you can understand it too.
This is a second message of that kind, looks like God is trying to speak to us and wake us from slumber. We have to remember this is war, not just easy going Christianity, not just coming to church on Sunday, we are required to do much more than this.
