Can Christians remarry?

This is a very strong warning and confirmation of what I myself was shown by the Holy Spirit. The words of Jesus in the bible are very clear about it and we should not change what God says is right. Marriage is for life and if we get divorced we are not to remarry. God hates divorce and He will lead Christians to forgive one another and keep the marriage covenant. The Holy Spirit will not lead people of God to get divorced and remarry. This is a serious and difficult problem but prayer and calling to God for help should be done instead of shattering marriages, children’s lives and bringing huge drama for all involved. God never said, that we are to stay together only when things are lovely and sweet but for good and for bad. Today the world is so different from the one even 50 years ago, that people do not even know what it means to sacrifice and to be loyal. May God have mercy on all of us.

I am not sure why king David and many others in the old testament had hundreds of wives and concubines, why God never chastised David for it but one day we will know all things, when we get to heaven to be with the Lord for ever, He will tell us why.

Do Not Quench The Holy Spirit

A very important warning for pastors and church elders.

Tony's avatarMy Dreams and Visions

The title of this post comes from 1 Thess. 5:19 where it states not to quench the Holy Spirit.

The word quench is the Greek word σβέννυμι sbénnumi; it’s definition is as follows:

Figuratively to dampen, hinder, repress, as in preventing the Holy Spirit from exerting His full influence, with the acc.

With that said, let me describe a vision of what I saw today. In the vision I saw pastors and or leaders in a circle each having buckets in their hands. They were standing in a circle around a campfire. Each pastor in the vision would take his bucket and subsequently dump it on the campfire in order to douse the firr. The fire did not die easily, however, as each person repeatedly dumped water on the fire it began to dwindle until only a glowing ember remained. It was then that I saw an individual running at…

Fasting is good for the body, USC study discovers — Sun & Shield

Throughout the Bible, fasting was recommended alongside prayer when the people of God humbled themselves in repentance to see God do a wonderful work in their own lives and in the lives of others (e.g. Nehemiah and Queen Esther). When done correctly, it brings spiritual strength and solidifies resolve to carry out the will of the Lord. […]

If we walk in the light, as He is in the light

Luke 11:34-36

34 The light of the body is the eye. Therefore, when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light. But when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.”

How hard it is to walk in the light when people around us are walking in darkness? The light in us means love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, holiness, no sin… If we think that even evil desire of our wicked heart, even anger, gossip, slander, all things that most people do every day, they all bring darkness into us, how hard it is to walk in the light? Do we have strenght to oppose those who birng gossip and slander into our life? Do we stop looking at evil images, movies, songs, when they jump at us from computer screens or TV? It is every day struggle and constant war against powers of darkness so that we can walk in the light of Jesus and His Holy Spirit filling us and helping us to win. Praise be to God for His Son Jesus Christ, who bought us with His blood and His blood cleanses us from all sins.

“If we walk in the light, as He is in the light.” John 1:7

As He is in the light! Can we ever attain to this? Shall we ever be able to walk as clearly in the light as He is whom we call “Our Father,” of whom it is written, “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all”? Certainly, this is the model which it set before us, for the Saviour Himself said, “Be ye perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect”; and although we may feel that we can never rival the perfection of God, yet we are to seek after it, and never to be satisfied until we attain to it.
